If Kerala is the God's own land .. Alappuzha, previously Alleppy is the land of backwaters along the south-west cost of India. The town was planned and designed by Raja Keshavadas the then 'Diwan' of earstwhile travancore. Alappuzha facing Arabian Sea and confluenced behind by many many canals, waterways and small rivers.
